System Manager Sexual Assault Services

Reports to the Director of Business Health Services and is accountable for the day-to-day operations of the Sexual Assault Services department. Oversees all department staff and programs, including: 24-hour Victim Advocacy Program in conjunction with the 24-hour Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program, a 24-hour Crisis Hot-line, the Child Advocacy Center Program, Counseling Services, Prevention Education Program and Volunteer Program. Acts as a liaison between Bronson Battle Creek and federal, state and local funders of the grant-funded department. Develops and maintains all department grant funding, including required statistical and financial reports in collaboration with financial analyst and leaders in the department. Seeks additional funding for program continuation and growth. Oversees the development, interpretation, and application of hospital and departmental policies, budgets, plans and performs other related duties as assigned. Oversees agency staff, including annual performance evaluations, administrative and clinical supervision. Provides quality services designed to meet the direct needs of survivors of sexual assault and abuse and/or their non-perpetrating significant others. Collaboration with community and state-wide partners to assure a comprehensive, state-of-the-art, best practice model of response to sexual assault victims throughout the region. Employees providing direct patient care must demonstrate competencies specific to the population served.
