1 in 10 children will be sexually abused before their 18th birthday, but community members taking action to help keep kids safe makes a huge difference. Learning how to recognize the signs of abuse and make a report to authorities is an effective intervention tool everyone can use to reduce the occurrences and traumatic impact of abuse on children in our communities. Below, you'll find multiple training days and times.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  4. Take a few minutes to learn about your local Children's Advocacy Center and the services they provide--there are 40 centers located throughout Michigan.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This training does not qualify as Mandated Reporter Training.<\/h3>\n

    Many professions define individuals as \"mandated reporters.\" Are you a mandated reporter? Find out HERE<\/a>.
